Agfa HealthCare, a leading provider of IT-enabled clinical workflow and diagnostic imaging solutions announces today the integration of Median’s Lesion Management Solutions (LMS), providing advanced clinical applications for CT oncology to radiologists directly on the IMPAX desktop.
Median's oncology solutions LMS-lung and LMS-Liver are clinical applications designed to help radiologists detect, evaluate and follow lesions identified in Computed Tomography (CT) scans. It provides 3D segmentation of lung and liver lesions, automatically calculates measurements and generates reports. Integration of the LMS-lung and LMS-Liver solutions with Agfa HealthCare's IMPAX PACS provides easy access to the application on the radiologists' desktop, anywhere in the enterprise, to improve the reading workflow and enhance efficiency. While using the LMS-lung or LMS-Liver solutions, radiologists are also able to retrieve previous exams necessary for follow-up studies and can quickly transmit comprehensive reports to oncologists and other referring physicians.
